Warren Central’s forgettable February came to an abrupt and disappointing close Friday night.

The Lady Vikes’ season ended with a 47-44 loss to Greenville in the third-place game of the girls’ Division 4-6A Tournament.

The Lady Vikes (15-14) lost four of their last five games, including two in the division tournament by a total of 10 points. That followed a stretch in which the team — which has only one senior and one junior on the roster — won eight on nine games.
