Katie Thelma Cranfield

Katie Thelma Cranfield died Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015, at Heritage House in Vicksburg. She was 93.

Born to Charles Albert Strittman and Nannie Elizabeth Delaney on April 16, 1920, she was a native and lifelong resident of Jefferson County. She was an active member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Lorman.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Ray Cranfield; son, Willie Ray Cranfield; and grandson, Tony Cranfield.

Survivors include three sons, George Cranfield of Port Gibson, James Randy Cranfield of Wesson, and Tom Cranfield of Vicksburg; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015, at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Carrol Walker and the Rev. Richard Floyd officiating. Burial will follow at Cane Ridge Cemetery in Lorman.

Visitation will be Saturday at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the hour of the service.

Pallbearers will be Will Cranfield, Steve Cranfield, Matt Cranfield, Tyler Cranfield, and Michael Cain.  Honorary pallbearers will be Joseph Cranfield, Charlie Moore, Michael Moore, Cliff Cranfield, Steve Cranfield, Robert Lee Cranfield, and Michael Orcutt.
