Funeral service for Eugene Britton Warren will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at New Mount Elem M.B. Church with the Rev. Leonard Walker officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

Visitation is 5 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Warren died Sunday, Feb. 22, 2015, at Promise Hospital. He was 72.

He was retired from National Metal Works of Aurora, Ill., and was a member of New Mount Elem M. B. Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus and Cora Horise Britton; and his son, Mario Britton.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Clark Warren of Vicksburg; daughter, Shirley Pryor of Aurora, Ill.; a brother and sister; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
