Funeral services for John E. “Gee” Wallace will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 20, 2015, at the Vicksburg Auditorium with the Rev. Rhagi White officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery with W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home in charge.

Visitation is today from 6 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Wallace passed away on the Thursday, March 11, 2015, at River Region Medical Center. He was 44. He had worked for the Heritage House Nursing Home for over 20 years and was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his father, Eddie Jeff Bradley; mother, Julia Ella Glass-Wallace; and brothers, Robert Lee Wallace and Kwayne Wallace.

Survivors include his brother, Eddie “Bo” Wallace of Augusta Ga.: five sisters, Christine Johnson of Fayette, Sandra Boone of Marina ,Calif.,  and Joy Wallace Mobley, Laura Wallace and Tremetra “Meekie” Wallace, all of Vicksburg; and nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
