Funeral services for Michael Lewis Tolliver will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 4, 2015, at Hickory Tree M. B. Church at with the Rev. Elzie O’Neal officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Tree Cemetery under the direction of W. H. Jefferson Funeral.

Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Tolliver died on Friday, March 27, 2015, at his home. He was 39.

He was a truck driver and was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Augusta Anderson; and maternal grandparents, the Rev. James and Bertha Swartz Tolliver Sr.

Survivors include his son, Jerel Jones of Kansas City, Mo.; daughters My’Kia Tolliver  and Am’ Mya Tolliver, both of Vicksburg; father, Michael Anderson of Vicksburg; mother, Sheral Tolliver of Vicksburg; three brothers, Dayton Tolliver Sr., Jeremy Ballard and Nicholas Straughter all of Vicksburg; seven sisters, Shennelle Parker of Vicksburg, Michelle Williams of Webster, Texas, Glory Tolliver of Kansas City, Mo., Arnisha Tolliver of Vicksburg, Yolanda Ward of Vicksburg, Sherelle Straughter of Vicksburg, Keola Harrington of Fayette and Barbara Tolliver Hodge of Vicksburg; two grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles cousins and other relatives and friends.
