Charles ‘Charlie’, ‘Daddy’, ‘Papa’ Henderson Caldwell

Charles “Charlie”, “Daddy”, “Papa” Henderson Caldwell got to finally meet Jesus, the one he’s loved since boyhood, Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at 8:26 AM.

He is no doubt dancing in elated joy, so we, his family, are dancing in spirit along with him.

We will continue this Celebration of Charlie’s life Saturday, May 2, 2015, at First Baptist Church in Vicksburg at 1 p.m. with the visitation period beginning at 11:30 a.m.

This man of God had a constant humor, great woodworking talent, beautiful singing voice, a true servant’s heart and was a skilled engineer and bricklayer, but his heart for people is his lasting legacy.

He is survived by his wife, Linda M. Caldwell of Vicksburg; his daughters, Vicki (Jeff) Pedron of Collierville, Tenn., and Rene (Bob) Taylor of Marietta, Ga.; his sister, Bettie Mae (Von) Graham of Metairie, La.; his brother, Herman (Betty) Caldwell of Grenada; his five grandsons, Jordan Pedron, Daniel Pedron, Michael Pedron, Nathan (Shea) Taylor and Joshua (Camille) Taylor and four great-grandchildren, Camdon Taylor, Landree Taylor, Hudson Taylor and Hazael Taylor.
