Mollie Davis Gibbs

Mollie Davis Gibbs died Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at her home. She was 84.

She was a wonderful and beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Mrs. Gibbs made friends everywhere she went and was loved by everyone. She loved her church, Warrenton Independent Baptist Church, where she was an active member.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Julius Carl and Dollie Davis; her husbands, Joe W. Warnock and J. R Gibbs; two brothers, Carl J. Davis and Herman Allen Davis; four sisters, Emma Louise Davis, Kathryn Franks, Ruby Bounds and Dollie Mae Kuhn; and one grandson, David Wesley Rogers.

Survivors include four daughters, Dianne Hadad, Dorothy Cockrell (Joe), Judy Stewart (Daniel) and Brenda Kight; eight grandchildren, Daniel, Amy, Cynthia, Jennifer, Susan, Sherri, Nikki and Katie; 13 great-grandchildren, Ethan, Jacie, Phillip, Matthew, Korbyn, Gabriel, Josh, Alex, Jamie, Sam, Wesley, Avery and Grayson.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 2, 2015, at Antioch Cemetery with the Rev. Marvin Curtis officiating.

Visitation will be Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Smith, Daniel Stewart Sr., Joe Cockrell, Kenny Roberts, Ronnie Brown, John Moulder, Douglas Hadad and Justin White.  Honorary pallbearers will be David May, Dr. David Headley, Camellia Hospice and David Joseph.
