Patricia Smith Died Saturday, May 9, 2015, at Merit Health River Region Medical Center. She was 49.

She was born in New Orleans, moving to Port Gibson, and then to Vicksburg in 1974. Mrs. Smith was a graduate of Warren Central High School. She worked for Vicksburg Hospital and River Region Medical Center.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Joe Smith of Vicksburg; a son, Bradley Joseph Smith of Vicksburg; daughter, Amy Nicole Smith of Vicksburg; brother, Patrick Emerson of Flora; sister, Joy Emerson of Vicksburg; and two grandchildren.

Services are 2 p.m. today, May 12, 2015, at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Mitch Cochran Officiating. Burial will follow at Yokena Cemetery.

Visitation is from noon until the service.

Pallbearers are Wylie Pritchford, Bruce Hollowell, Bradley Smith, Hardy simrall, Earl Smith, and David Emerson.
