James Cal Caston of Edwards died Saturday, May 9, 2015, at Merit Health River Region Medical Center. He was 74.

He is preceded in death by a longtime companion, Thelma J. Irving; two sisters, Johnny Mae Caston and Gertrude Knox.

Survivors include one daughter, Belinda Hudson of Tacoma Wash.; sister, Lula Stamps of Edwards; two brothers, Ben Dunson Sr. of Lompoc, Calif., and Willie Caston Sr. of Edwards; three grandchildren; one great-grandson; and nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other relatives.
