Mosie Lee ‘Ann’ Piazza

PORT GIBSON — Mosie Lee “Ann” Piazza, died Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at her home. She was 61.
Mrs. Piazza was a member of Mercy Seat M.B. Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Solomon Williams, Martha Dee and Timothy Watson; a sister, Doris Cason; and three brothers, Leonard “Bro” Dee, Sylvester Watson, Willie Mack Watson.
Survivors include a son, Devon Carpenter of Port Gibson; two daughters, Alexandria of Vicksburg and Rachel Smith of Port Gibson; adopted children, JoAnn Ward and Myron Ward, both of Jackson; eight brothers, Cardell Williams, Oliver Williams, Claude Watson, and David Watson, all of Port Gibson, and Timothy Watson and Nathaniel Watson, both of Chicago, Clinton Watson of Carthage, and Michael Watson of Vicksburg; five sisters, Darlene Williams, Yvonne Watson, and Pauline Washington, all of Port Gibson, Lillie Shephard of Ontario, Calif., and Rosemary Knight of Dallas,; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two aunts; and nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 1p.m., Saturday, June 13, 2015, at Mercy Seat M.B. Church in Port Gibson, with the Rev. Frank McGriggs officiating. The Rev. Ray Coleman will give the eulogy. Burial will be at Mercy Seat Cemetery under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home Inc. of Port Gibson.
Visitation will be Friday from 1 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
