Funeral services for Gregory Sheriff Jones will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 13, 2015, at Bethlehem M. B. Church with Elder A. C. Chambliss officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

Mr. Jones died Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Medical Center. He was 45.

He was a chef for the Wine House Restaurant and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Nickole Jones of Vicksburg; two stepsons, Roderick Goodman and Fredrick Parson, both of Vicksburg; four daughters, Jessica Jones of Vicksburg, Shay McCoy of Chicago, Dyquesha Rockett of Erie, Pa., and Andrea Phillips of Memphis, Tenn.; his father Excell Brown Sr. of Atlanta; his mother, Estella Jones of Chicago; three brothers, Stanley Jones, Excell Brown Jr. and Deron Brown, all of Chicago; five sisters, Beverly Jones, Kimberly Jones, Christa Jones, Vickie Jones and Michelle Perkins, all of Chicago; his maternal grandmother, Virginia Jones of Jackson; and nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
