Ida Mae Brooks died June 30, 2015, at Trinity Mission Health & Rehab of Clinton. She was 64.

Mrs. Brooks was preceded in death by her mother, Annie Mae Williams and her father, Cleophus Brown, Sr.

Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Brooks of Vicksburg; son, Benard Brooks of Shelbyville, Ind.; sisters, Jerrystine Robinson, Barbara Robinson and Felicia Johnson, all of Vicksburg, Alice Collins of St. Louis and Barbara Davis of St. Louis; brothers, Robert Williams, Frank Brown, Cleophus Brown Jr., James Brown and Elastic Brown, all of Vicksburg, Curtis Williams of Lancaster, Calif., and Anthony “Dale” Brown of Dallas, Texas; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, July 6, 2015, at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Johnny L. Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
