Anthony Overton died Friday, July 3, 2015 in his residence following a lengthy illness.  He was 56.

He was a member of the Greater Mt. Zion M. B. Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents Johnnie and Anita Causey Overton,

He is survived by his son Anthony Williams of Vicksburg; Tony Overton of Ill.; Angela Overton of Vicksburg, and Sylvia Marie Overton also of Vicksburg; his sister Barbara Overton of Vicksburg; five grandchildren; and a host of cousins and others.

Funeral services for Anthony Overton will be at 11 a.m. Friday, July 10 at the graveside in Cedar Hill Cemetery with W H. Jefferson Funeral Home in charge.
