ANGUILLA — Services for Virgie Lee Burgess were 1 p.m. Saturday, July 11, 2015, at Locust Grove M.B. Church in Anguilla with Pastor John McIntosh officiating. Burial was at the church cemetery.

Mrs. Burgess of Ocean Springs, formerly of Anguilla, died Monday, June 29, 2015, at Ocean Springs Hospital. She was 57.

Survivors included her son, Jasper Smith of Ocean Springs; brother, James Smith Jr. of Portland, Ore.; five sisters, Barbara Jones and Betty Smith, both of Saginaw, Mich., Ellen M. Smith and Mavis L. Smith, both of Portland, Ore., Doris A. Smith of Ocean Springs; and five grandchildren.
