Lorine Bass Ringo died on July 10, 2015, at Houston Methodist West Hospital in Houston, Texas. She was 66.

Mrs. Ringo was preceded in death by her parents, Louvenia Brown and Tommy Bass Sr.; grandparents, Jordan and Anna Thomas; one granddaughter, Toneka S. Ringo; one brother, Tommy Bass, Jr.; and three sisters, Carolyn Shaye Hudson, Betty Thomas and Katie Mae Bass.

Survivors include her husband, James Ringo Sr.; two sons, James Ringo Jr. of Vicksburg and Edward Ringo of Killeen, Texas; three daughters, Angie Ringo-Wardley of Houston, Texas, and Ada Ringo and Ida Ringo Banks, both of Vicksburg; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one step-granddaughter; five sisters, Carolyn Faye Franklin, Clematine Thomas, Geraldine Larkin, all of Vicksburg; Rose Marshall of Benton Harbor, Mich., and Elbert “Queenie” Brown of Clinton; five brothers, Jack Thomas, Robert Bass, Jimmy Bass and Elbert Brown Jr., all of Vicksburg, and Emanuel Bass of Aurora, Ill.; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday, July 18, 2015, at Greater Grove Street Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Casey D. Fisher officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Friday from 1 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home
