L. C. “Bull” Moffett died Thursday, July 30, 2015, in Vicksburg. He was 53.

Mr. Moffett was born April 8, 1962, in Edwards to the late A. C. Moffett Sr. and Mattie Moffett.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He attended Edwards Attendance Center and later Utica Junior College, and worked at Tyson Foods for 25 years.

He attended St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Edwards.

Survivors include a daughter, Denise Harris; three sons, Chris Harris, Joe McCoy and Cody McCoy, all of Edwards; three sisters, Barbara Moffett and Patricia Wright, both of Edwards, and Rebecca Barbour of Jackson; four brothers, Lewis Gasken, Walter Gasken and Andrew Moffett, all of Edwards, and A. C. Moffett of New Orleans; three aunts; a mother-in-law; a special friend; and nieces, nephews, others relatives and friends.

Service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, 2015, at St. Paul M.B. Church in Edwards. Burial will at the church cemetery under the direction of Willis and Sons Funeral Home of Jackson.

Visitation will be Friday from 1 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
