On Monday night, while covering the arrest of a Vicksburg native charged with attempting to join a terrorist group The Vicksburg Post accidentally — and briefly — posted to its website a photograph depicting the suspect along with others who are unrelated to the terror case. We intended to publish only a cropped version of the photograph.

Once discovered the photograph was removed from our site and from other social media sites to the best of our abilities.

The photograph in question was online for approximately 30 minutes, however, we regret the error and apologize to the persons who appeared in the photograph, their families and friends.
