LEXINGTON — Margaret Devine Meeks, died Aug. 16, 2015, at Holmes County Hospital in Lexington. She was 84.

Mrs. Meeks was secretary at Hammett Gravel Co. in Lexington for 35 years and was a member of Hebron Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Marvin Meeks in 2003; her daughter, Jeannine Warren in 2015; and her parents, Georgia Ray and Edward Tolbert Devine.

Survivors include her son, Curry Meeks of Vicksburg; four grandchildren; and four great- grandchildren.

Funeral services are 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2015, at Southern Funeral Home in Lexington with Bro. Jerry Guess officiating.

Visitation will be prior to the service at 10 am. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington.
