MAYERSVILLE — Edie B. Williams died Thursday, Aug. 13, 2015, at Allegiance Specialty Hospital in Greenville. She was 77.

Survivors include a son, Saul Williams Jr. of Mayersville; three daughters, Vivian Evans, Brenda Peterson and Linda Short; a sister, Gloria Thomas of Compton, Calif., eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Rose Hill M.B. Church in Mayersville with pastor Larry D. White officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery under the direction of Mitchell L. Walker Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Saturday at the church from 10 a.m. until the service.
