Gloria “Moo Moo” Younger Chin

Funeral services for Gloria “Moo Moo” Younger Chin will be 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015, at Kings Community Empowerment Church, 224 R.L. Chase Circle, with pastor Dexter Jones officiating. Burial will be Monday, August 24, 2015, at the National Cemetery in Natchez, under the direction of Dillon-Chisley Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, and Saturday at the church from 2:30 p.m. until the hour of service.

Mrs. Chin died Monday, August 17, 2015, at Oasis Health and Rehabilitation Center in Yazoo City. She was 55.

Born and reared in Vicksburg, she was educated in the Vicksburg-Warren School District and was a member of Triumphant Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Chin, and her mother Ernestine Butler Younger.

Survivors include her daughter, Danielle Chin of Vicksburg; father, Felix Younger Sr. of Vicksburg; three brothers, Michael Younger, of Cincinnati, Felix Younger Jr. and Henry Younger, both of Vicksburg; six sisters, Shirley Butler, Grand Rapids, Mich., and Juanita Bell, Margaret Neal, Herscine Brown, Annette Younger and Jeanette Younger, all of Vicksburg; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
