After more than 18 months in planning and development, Vicksburg Living is now a reality.

The magazine, which is a sister publication to The Vicksburg Post, will begin being delivered to homes and locations throughout Vicksburg this week.

“This a product that we are very excited to bring to the residents of Vicksburg and Warren County and a product that has been a long time coming,” Tim Reeves, president of Vicksburg Newsmedia LLC. Said Thursday. “I know the reaction by the staff to the first edition has been great and I can only hope our readers and business partners feel the same way.”

Vicksburg Living will be published six times each year. While the first edition is now in the process of being distributed, the staff is already working on the upcoming editions, with the next edition planned to arrive in late October.

The mission of Vicksburg Living is to provide a first-class magazine, focused on interesting people, places and even things that make Vicksburg “an amazing place to live, work, play and pray,” Reeves said.

Stories will also be featured online at vicksburgliving.net and shared through a new Facebook page.

“Just like The Vicksburg Post, this magazine is written and planned with our readers in mind. We hope they will give us feedback on how we can improve upon this first magazine, offer story ideas and share a copy of the magazine with a friend,” Reeves said.

Copies of the magazine will be available at limited locations around Vicksburg, as well as The Vicksburg Post office. The Vicksburg Post office is located at 1601-F N. Frontage Road.
