Funeral services for Lucille Floyd Wheatley will be noon Saturday, Aug. 29, 2015, at Ebenezer M.B. Church. Burial will follow at Rhoelia M.B. Church Cemetery under the direction of Dillon-Chisley Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Friday from 1 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home, and Saturday at the church from 11 a.m. until the hour of service.

Mrs. Wheatley died Aug. 18, 2015, at Merit Health River Region Medical Center. She was 97.

She was a member of the mother board and former president of the choir of Ebenezer M.B. Church. She was a member of Silver Moon Chapter No. 41 of the Order of Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam Floyd and Mamie Miller Floyd.

Survivors include a grandson, Robert Earl Wheatley of Vicksburg; two nephews, Robert Smothers of Vicksburg and Douglas E. Smothers, of Seoul, South Korea; one niece, Regina Brown of Vicksburg; and other relatives.
