Funeral services for Claude L. King Sr. will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015, at Bethlehem M. B. Church with the Rev. Dexter Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

Mr. King died Thursday, Aug. 27, 2015, at Merit Health River Region Medical Center. He was 54, and was employed by Warren county.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Willie Mae King Sr.; and brothers, Jessie James King, Freddie Hall and Joseph King Jr.,

Survivors include his two sons, Troman Versell of Omaha, Neb., and Claude D. King Jr of Vicksburg; two daughters, Kimberly Versell of Memphis, Tenn., and Ashley Versell of Omaha, Neb.; two brothers, Michael King of Vicksburg and Leroy King of Chicago; and 10 sisters, Thelma King of San Francisco, Lucille Albert, Lorine King, Vera Wheatley, Jo Ann Stevenson, Brenda David, Claudette King, Deborah Hall , Willienene King and Laura King, all of Vicksburg.
