A look at how players from Vicksburg-area high schools did in college football games played over the weekend:

• Ole Miss offensive lineman Talbot Buys saw playing time at right tackle in a 76-3 win over UT-Martin.

• Kentucky safety A.J. Stamps (Vicksburg) had four solo tackles and two assists in a 40-33 win over Louisiana-Lafayette.

• Mississippi State punter Devon Bell (Warren Central) put one of his two punts inside the 20-yard line and averaged 37.5 yards per kick in a 34-16 win over Southern Miss.

• Southern Miss offensive lineman Norman Price (Vicksburg) started at right tackle for the Golden Eagles against Mississippi State.

• Belhaven offensive lineman Steve Cooper (Vicksburg) started at left guard for the Blazers in a 52-23 loss to Millsaps.

• Mississippi College running back Darius Youngblood (Vicksburg) ran for 34 yards and a touchdown in a 61-6 win over Texas College.

• Mississippi College wide receiver Malcolm Grant (Warren Central) caught one pass for 4 yards against Texas College.

• Louisiana Tech cornerback Adairius Barnes (Port Gibson) had three total tackles and two pass breakups in a 62-15 win over Southern University.

• Cornell College (Iowa) running back Patrick Brown (Vicksburg) carried the ball nine times for 20 yards, and caught one pass for 3 yards in a 33-9 win over Iowa Wesleyan.

• Delta State linebacker LeDarion Robinson (Hinds AHS) had four solo tackles, one assist and one pass breakup in a 48-7 win over Fort Valley State.
