Hundreds without power

An early morning power outage knocked out service to about 836 people in the Fisher Ferry Road area.

According to the outages map on the Entergy website, the outage occurred about 5:35 a.m., and power was expected to be restored by 9 a.m. Another outage on Gullet Road off Hankinson Road at 7:25 a.m. affected one home in that area, according to the website. The cause of the outages was unknown Thursday morning.
