Charles Ray Johnson died Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2015, at his home in Vicksburg. He was 58.

He was a lifelong resident of Vicksburg, where he was self-employed as a carpenter. He was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Johnson Jr.; brother, Robert Eugene Johnson; stepfather, Ed Edwards; and a stepson, Michael Jeandron.

Survivors include his wife, Tammy B. Johnson of Vicksburg; daughters, Michelle Satterwhite of Pearl and Cynthia Jeandron of Vicksburg; stepson, James Ainsworth Jr. of Vicksburg; mother, Mary Sue Edwards of Pearl; sisters, Connie Kinley of Brandon and Linda Johnson of Vicksburg; and 18 grandchildren.

Memorial services are 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, 2015, at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. James VanEtten officiating.

Visitation is from 1 p.m. until the hour of the service.
