Funeral services for James Gregory Ross will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, 2015, at at Pleasant Valley M. B. Church with the Rev James Hughes officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Saturday from 6 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Ross died Sunday, Sept. 13, 2015, at University of Mississippi Medical Center.

He was 32. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hermanville.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Johnny Ross Sr., and his paternal grandmother Mary Bell.

Survivors include five sons, Keonte’ Ross and Decovan Ross, both of Vicksburg, Me Korey McComb of Pattison, and Jaylen Ross and Braden Hughes both of Hermanville; daughter, Nikkiya Rushing of Vicksburg; father, Michael Bell Sr. of Vicksburg; mother, Patricia Ross of Vicksburg; four brothers, Michael Ross, Travion Bell, Michael Bell Jr. and Devontae Bell, all of Vicksburg; six sisters, Mary Edwards, Ashley Ross, Kyla Sims, Dominique Sims, Jasmine Sims and Aaliyah Sims, all of Vicksburg; maternal grandmother, Paula Rader Davenport of Vicksburg, paternal grandfather, Leonard Bell of Vicksburg;  and nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.
