Funeral services for Jasper Lowe will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015, at the Greater Mount Lebanon M. B. Church with the Rev. John Henry Williams officiating. Burial interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W. H Jefferson Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Lowe died Thursday, Sept. 10. 2015 at his home. He was 79.

He was a self-employed painter and was a member of the Greater Mount Lebanon M. B. Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sylvester and Priscilla Irving Lowe; brothers, Harrison Lowe Sr., Sylvester Lowe Sr., James A. G. Lowe, Eddie Lowe, LaSal Lowe, Adolphus Lowe and Elbert Lowe; his sisters, Priscilla Lowe-Moore, Perry Lowe Stewart, and Amy Lowe Loving.

Survivors include his wife, Berneathea Lowe of Vicksburg; three sons, Jasper Lowe Jr. of Alamogordo, New Mexico, Shaun Lowe of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Kenny Lowe of Hazelhurst; stepsons Tony Sivley and Thomas Sivley, both of Memphis, Tennessee; daughters, Linda Mister off Arkansas and Sandra Lowe-Williams of Hazelhurst; 3 sisters, Mahalia Lowe Taylor of Memphis, Tennessee, and Ospy Lowe-Dorsey and Odessa Lowe Elmore, both of Vicksburg, 19 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and other relatives and friends.
