Nan Priest Booth

Nan Priest Booth, 71, of Vicksburg, passed away Sept. 16, 2015, at Merit Health River Region Medical Center.

A loving mother and grandmother, Nan earned her wings and went off to glory to be with her true love, husband Robert Booth. She passed her time doing multiple forms of needlepoint and her love for her animals that were part of her daily life.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Lewis Booth; her mother, Alice Cloud Priest; and father, Herman John Priest.

Nan is leaving behind three daughters, Frances Booth, Reba Booth Adair (Jeff) and Renee Booth; three siblings, Mary Whitehead (Al), Cecil Priest and Herman Priest; eight grandchildren, Josh Adair (Brittany), Dana Hawkins King (Allen), Mark Wooten (Susan), Jake Wooten, Brittany Adair, Austin Smith (Dana), David Hawkins, Makayla Williams and Madison Williams; she was blessed with having five great-grandchildren, Preslee Johnson, Gracie Smith, Easton Parker Adair, Ava Lynette Wooten, and Jeffrey Colton Adair; and also left behind nieces and nephews as well as great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation is at Glenwood Funeral home Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. Graveside services will be at Big Creek Baptist Cemetery, Adger, Alabama, Saturday, Sept 19, 2015, at noon.
