Hunter Payton Rogers, 22, of Vicksburg passed away Thursday, Sept. 17, 2015.
He was a lifelong resident of Vicksburg he attended Warren Central High School and later graduated from Camp Shelby with honors. He loved the outdoors.
He loved his family. People knew him for his giving heart. He was of Baptist faith.
He is survived by his two daughters, Aubree and Payzli Rogers both of Vicksburg; his father and stepmother, Chad and Angie Rogers of Vicksburg; his mother and stepdad, Ruthie and Michael Cantin of Vicksburg; a brother, Corbin Rogers of Vicksburg; the mother of his children, Ashley R. Belknap; paternal grandparents, Charles (Diane) Rogers of Vicksburg and Ann T. Dahl of Vicksburg, his maternal grandparents, Deborah Cummings and the late John T. Cummings of Vicksburg, and numerous other relatives.
Service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21, 2015, in the Glenwood Chapel. Visitation will be at noon till the hour of service.
Burial will be at Greenlawn Gardens. Pallbearers will be Justin Boler, Tony Davidson, Reggie DeLome, Luis Gutierrez, Britain Kistler and Mason Cummings. Honorary pallbearers will be David Williams, Jimmy Hart, Brian Haney and Kurt Tippen. The Rev. Terry White will be conducting the service under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home.
