Kayla Mayfield had 12 kills on 18 attacks, and added four aces Tuesday night to lead Warren Central’s volleyball team to a 3-0 (25-17, 25-10, 25-17) win over Callaway.

Liz Boyd added eight assists and four kills, and Carisha London had eight kills on 14 attacks.

With the victory, the Lady Vikes improved to 10-9 overall and 3-2 in Class III, Region 4. They only need to take one set from Callaway when the teams play again next Tuesday in Jackson to clinch the first playoff berth in school history.

Warren Central will host Vicksburg Thursday at 6 p.m.
