St. Al soccer beats Greenville-St. Joe

Sara McDaniel turned in another outstanding offensive performance by scoring four goals, and the St. Aloysius soccer team routed Catholic school rival Greenville-St. Joseph 6-1 Tuesday in Bovina.

Madelyn Polk had two goals and an assist, while Cameron Mathis, Sydney Mathis, Lexi Varner and Brooklyn Breithaupt each had one assist.

St. Al improved its record to 10-0 overall, and 7-0 in District 1-AAA. It’ll play Indianola Academy today at 4 p.m. at Balzli Field, with the winner taking the district championship.
