Emma Hebron

Funeral services for Emma Hebron will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015, at W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. John Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Hebron died Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015, at Merit Health Promise Hospital. She was 83.

She was a homemaker and member of the Mount Pilgrim M. B. Church of Freetown, where she was an usher for the church for over 60 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Sally Howard Sims; husband, Leon Hebron; son, Charles Hebron; brother, Johnny Sims, Robert Sims, Fred Sims, Allen Sims, Albert Sims, Eddie Sims and Tommie Sims; her sisters, Pinkye Harris and Lelia Pampley.

Survivors include two sons, Leon Simms  and Willie Hebron, both of Vicksburg; three daughters, Shirley Wilson, Esther Minor and Edna Hebron, all of Vicksburg; two sisters, Bertha Burse of Albion, Michigan, and Rosie Thomas of Chicago; 17 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren; and nieces nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
