Eric “Fester” Mitchell died Friday, Oct. 2, 2015, in Tallulah, Louisiana.  He was 34.

He was born Oct. 29, 1980, to the late George Tucker and Mary Mitchell.

Mr. Mitchell was of the Baptist faith.

Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gertrude and Willie Mitchell; and stepfather, Glen Hunter.

Survivors include his mother, Mary Mitchell of Vicksburg; two sisters, Glentrice Hunter and Rosie Tucker both of Vicksburg; four  brothers, Edward Mitchell, Fredrick Mitchell, Eric Waites and George Tucker Jr. all of Vicksburg; and nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015, at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Edmond E. Gibbs officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday from 1 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
