Lucy A. Camp

Lucy A. Camp died Friday, Oct. 9, 2015, at her home.

Born Oct. 31, 1940, she grew up in Cary, and lived most of her adult life in Vicksburg, where she owned and operated Lucy’s Place.

For the past eight years, she had been employed at The Liquor Store where she made many friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Addie Allen; husband, Roy Allen; and nephew, Gerald Allen.

Survivors include nieces, Angela Springer and Melissa Outlaw; and great-nieces, Heather Outlaw, Kayla Allen, Alyssa Allen, Danny Ray Springer, Felicia Springer and Ashley Williams.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Mound Cemetery in Rolling Fork under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home.

Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Rujul Patel, Wayne Grey, Henry Outlaw, Danny Springer, Craig Vickers and Chad Vickers.

Honorary pallbearers will be James Penley, Austin Douglas, Eddie Pettis, Melissa Mullens, Jayme Fowler, Tracy Nevels and Jeff Ward.
