Lottie Ann Raney

Lottie Ann Raney died Tuesday Oct. 13,2015 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. She was 69 years old.

Mrs. Raney was born July 18, 1946, in Tallulah, Louisiana and lived most of her life in Vicksburg. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved all her family and friends and was an avid bridge player.

She is preceded in death by her father Amos Duncan; mother, Sybil Coutch; brothers, Jerry Duncan and Ralph Duncan; and a sister, Mary Pettway.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Ryan H. Raney of Vicksburg; four children, Bobby E. Kowen of Hallsville, Texas, Terry Carnes (Ronnie) of Winnfield, Louisiana, Ryan J. H. Raney (Chrissy) of Vicksburg and Christopher F. Raney of Vicksburg; six grandchildren, Stephanie Dauzat and Amber Carnes of Winnfield, Louisiana, Christopher Raney, Billy Hedrick, Tristan Raney, and Destiney Raney, all of Vicksburg; two great-grandchildren, Travis Dauzat and Hunter Hedrick; and nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday from noon to 2 p.m. at Glenwood Funeral Home, with services at 2 p.m. at Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Billy Hedrick Jr., Tristan Hedrick, Pete Kubecka, Keathon Anderson, Todd Brooks, Jim Voelker, Lee Kennedy and Brody Cook. Honorary pallbearers will be Jesse Raney, Joey Dauzat, Jeremy Stephenson, Franklynn Raney, Lucky Pettway and Bill Pettway.
