John Alden Reeves Jr. of Vicksburg died Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015, at his home. He was 67.

He was a lifelong resident of Mississippi and was retired from a career in the trucking industry. Mr. Reeves was preceded in death by his parents, John Alden Reeves Sr. and Lodena Irby, and a brother, Walter “Russell” Reeves.  Survivors include his wife, Carrie Lynn Reeves, his stepchildren, Vicki Cole, Jim Cole and Michele Cole Washington and four grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
