One in critical condition after ATV wreck

A Warren County man was in the hospital Monday following a wreck around 3 p.m. Sunday on Savage Road.

Richard H. May, 54, 130 Savage Road, was injured when he lost control of his eastbound Kawasaki Brute Force 750 on the gravel road near the Mingos Road intersection, Warren County Sherriff Martin Pace said. The four-wheeler left the road on the north side and appears to have overturned, Pace said.

May was transferred to Merit Health River Region and was airlifted to University of Mississippi Medical Center, Pace said. He was listed in critical condition Monday, Alana Bowman at UMMC public affairs said.

Items stolen from two homes on same road

Arms and electronics were missing Monday following two burglaries reported in Warren County.

At 5 p.m. Sunday, three guns, a television and a laptop were reported stolen from two homes on the 700 block of Mosley Gap Road, according to Warren County sheriff’s records.

 

One held for drug court

A Warren County woman was held without bail Monday for drug court.

Tameka Wright, 33, 4737 Lee Road, was held in the Warren County Jail Monday for a 72-hour drug court sanction.
