Funeral services for Louis Hebrew “Son” Walton Sr. will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015,at St. Mary’s Center with the Rev. Kevin Winters officiating. Burial will follow at China Grove Cemetery under the direction of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

Mr. Walton died Thursday, Oct. 16, 2015 at his home. He was 96. He was a retired self-employed independent logger and was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie M. and Ethel Walton; his wife, Eunice H. Walton; brothers, Lenora Walton and Jerry D. Walton; sisters Willie R Thomas, Mabel Tomas, Farrie Braggs, Bessie L. Brenson and Annie A Walton,

Survivors include seven sons, Louis H. Walton Jr., Donald R. Walton, Joseph Walton, Kevin Walton, Christopher R. Walton, all of Vicksburg; Billy Walton of Greenville and Larry Walton of Sumter, South Carolina; seven daughters, Arlene Walton, Michelle Walton, Lisa Walton, Vivian Walton-Davis, all of Vicksburg, Elizabeth Walton Morris of Brandon, Jessica Walton and Farrie Walton of Jackson; 20 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
