She is the parent of a 5-year-old son, Dawson Levi Page, who is a student in the Vicksburg Warren School District.

She said she decided to accept the position at The Vicksburg Post because she “wanted to join a solid, professional company where I could put to use my strengths and grow along with the company.”

Angela Ross, advertising director at The Vicksburg Post, said Rusche’s personality and customer service experience would be put to good use.

“We look forward to working with April, and think our classified customers will, too,” Ross said.

At home, Rusche enjoys watching Dawson play soccer and spending time with her family and friends.
