Cora June Aden Rials

Cora June Aden Rials, 86, passed away Oct. 28,2015, while visiting her daughter in Mobile, Alabama.

She was born in Vicksburg to Maude Mary and Perry McLaurin Aden on June 25,1929.

She was married to Willie D. King Rials for 33 years until his passing in 1984.

June was raised in Valley Park and graduated from Cary High School, class of 1947, where she was a two-year all-state forward in basketball. She attended Drake Business School before returning home to care for her mother.

She was a teacher at Redwood, longtime Sunday school teacher, Cub Scout and Girl Scout Leader, very active in church and civic affairs, a caregiver to friends and family, and retired from TG&Y store No. 356.

She was a shining example of Christianity to her children, family and friends. She was a member of Crossway Church, the Heaven Bound Sunday school class and B.A.S.S.

June was preceded in death by her husband, her parents; her daughter, Sharon Rials, her grandson, Ernie Rials; her great-grandsons Dee and Noah Love; her sister, Jean Carlisle and husband Allen; her sister, Pansy Barner; her brother, Perry B. Aden and wife Jim Ella; and her sister Alyce Dees and husband Daniel.

She is survived by her brother, Robert Aden (Louise) of Huntsville, Alabama; her brother-in-law, Bill Barner of Vicksburg; her son, Dennis Rials (Melinda of Jacksonville, Florida; daughter, Glenda Saikley (Frank) of Mobile, Alabama; son, Ernest “Pete” Rials of Vicksburg; son, Robert (Barbara) Rials of Vicksburg; 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one great-grandson

Services will be 2 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015 at Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Terry White officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery

Visitation will be from 5to 7 p.m., Wednesday, and from 1 to 2 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015.

Pallbearers will be Chris Rials, Nick Saikley, Daniel Rials, Ryan Hagenah, Karl Hass, George Love, Miller Rials and Brandon Estes.
