Josie T. McGuffie died Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2015, at Merit Health River Region Medical Center. She was 77.

A native of Inverness, she had made her home in Vicksburg since 1964.She was a member of the Berachah Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Peggy Pennington of Vicksburg and Shirley Gill of Ridgeland; three sons, Joey Reynolds, Monty McGuffie and Glen McGuffie, all of Vicksburg; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015, at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Roger Cresswell officiating. Burial will follow at Antioch Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home

Pallbearers will be Taylor Lewis, Trent Lewis, Dennis Lewis, Monty McGuffie, Glen McGuffie, and Michael Whitley.

Glenwood Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
