Regina Ray Gallaugher

Regina Ray Gallaugher, 53, passed away Nov. 1, 2015.

She was born in Vicksburg Aug. 28, 1962, to Bobby and Dorothy (McGrew) Lofton.

Regina traveled along the side of her husband of 27 years, Shane Gallaugher, as he served for our United States Coast Guard for 32 years.

In 1998, Regina and Shane moved to Portland, Texas, to raise their three children. Regina attended Southern Hills Institute of Corpus Christi, where she received her associates in medical billing and collections specialist. She is most known for her compassionate hugs, big beautiful smile, and the unconditional love and support she provided to her family.

Regina is preceded in death by her son, Richard Pugh; her parents; and mother-in-law, Susan Bandza.

Survivors include Regina’s husband, Shane Gallaugher of Portland, Texas; daughters, Shaina and Madison Gallaugher, both of Portland, Texas, and Leann Touchberry of Vicksburg; brothers, Kenny (Julie) Lofton of Excel, Alabama, Tommy (Georgia) Lofton of Sarasota, Florida, Wayne Bell of Leland and Martin Lofton of Indianola; sisters, Sandra Hausaman of Los Angeles, Pam (Paul) Lick of Madison and Stephanie Guzman of Indianola; four grandchildren, Destanie Sanders, Janellah Touchberry, Bentley Touchberry and Geornie Stamps; and in-laws, Ronald and Marilyn Bandza of Sioux City, Iowa.

The family will receive guests Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015, from noon to 1 p.m. at Glenwood Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will follow at 1p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.
