On held for MDOC

A Vicksburg man was held without bail Tuesday for the Mississippi Department of Corrections.

David Linzy, 22, 1406 E. Magnolia St., was held Tuesday on a warrant from MDOC, Vicksburg police Capt. Sandra Williams said.

Linzy was arrested at midnight on Washington Street when the vehicle he was a passenger in was pulled over for driving without headlights, Williams said.

Multiple tools missing from vehicle

Tools were missing Tuesday following a burglary reported Monday in Waltersville Estate.

At 10 a.m. Monday, saws, drills, drill chargers and drill batteries valued at $1,650 were reported stolen by busting a window in a 1998 Ford Expedition in Waltersville Estate, Vicksburg police Capt. Sandra Williams said.

 

Auto burglary reported in Vicskburg

A wallet was missing Tuesday following a burglary reported Monday in Vicksburg.

At 7 a.m. Monday, a wallet with a small amount of cash and personal affects was reported stolen from an unlocked Chevy Tahoe on the 2000 block of Sky Farm Ave., Vicksburg police Capt. Sandra Williams said.
