Patsy Jo Stanford, 76, Vicksburg passed away Nov. 11, 2015, at Promise Hospital.

She was a lifelong resident of Vicksburg, and retired from Westinghouse and Cooper Lighting after 25 years. She was a member of Wayside Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her son, James M. “Jay” Stanford Jr.; her father, Horace W. Clark and mother Josephine Flowers Clark

She is survived by her husband, James M. Stanford of Vicksburg; three daughters, Angela (Ross) Bentsen of Aurora, Illinois, Robbie (Alvin) Beard of Vicksburg and Melissa (Walter) Lickert of Edwardsville, Illinois; one sister, Pat Burton of Vicksburg; eight grandchildren, Alvin “A.J.” (Carol Ann) Beard, Joseph Robert (Betsy) Beard, all of Monroe, Louisiana, Richard Kline Bentsen of Lexington, Kentucky, Matthew Stanford Bentsen of Chicago, Clark Hamilton Bentsen of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Joanna Kathryn Bentsen of Monroe, Louisiana, and Katherine Joyce Lickert and James Stanford Lickert, both of Edwardsville, Illinois; four great-grandchildren, Rylee Ann Beard of Vicksburg, Owen Webber Beard of Vicksburg, Bailey Stanford Beard of Monroe, Louisiana, and Josie Elizabeth Beard of Monroe, Louisiana.

Service will be Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015, at Glenwood Funeral Home at 1 p.m. Burial will be at Wayside Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 8 p.m., and an hour before the service on Saturday with the Rev. Chris Williams officiating.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be Henry W. Muirhead, Jack Muirhead, Roy Blessett, Mack Craft, Richard Coleman, J.W. Wright and Franklin Hicks.
