Porters Chapel Academy’s boys basketball team couldn’t overcome serious foul trouble Friday night and lost 57-40 on the road against Park Place Christian.

Seven of PCA’s 10 starters finished the game with at least three fouls, and three fouled out. Park Place went 13-for-31 from the free throw line and pulled away in the fourth quarter.

Leon Simms led PCA (0-2) with nine points and nine rebounds. Jake Arias scored eight points, and Patrick Minor had eight rebounds.

PCA will go on the road again Monday to play Tensas Academy at 6 p.m.
