Funeral services for Doris Mae Davis Patton will be noon Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2015, at Zion Travelers M.B. Church with Rabbi Ahmetahee Yeroozeder from the House of Israel Hebrew Cultural Center No. 2 officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Dillon-Chisley Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Patton died Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2015, at Merit Health River Region Medical Center. She was 63.
Born in Vicksburg, she was 1971 graduate of Warren Central High School and was the shift supervisor for Rite-Aid Pharmacies.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Davis Jr. and Lucille Davis; one brother, Robert Lee Davis; two sisters, Delores Lee and Lucille Davis Williams Thomas; her maternal grandparents, Richard Lee Davis, Sr. and Rosie Conner Davis; paternal grandparents, Benjamin and Cora Byrd; stepgrandmother, Ludia Bias; and two foster brothers, Michael and Henry Johnson.
Survivors include two sons, Albert Davis of Country Club Hills, Illinois, and Alfred Patton of Vicksburg; two daughters, Latonya Patton Brown and Doris Yolonda Patton, both of Vicksburg; one stepdaughter Clara Williams of Chicago; nine brothers, Luke Lee, Leroy Watson, Jimmie Davis, Jessie Davis Sr., Milton Davis and Ricky Ross, all of Vicksburg, Willie Davis of Oakland, California, Richard Davis of Kinder, Louisiana, and Frank Davis of Edwards; four sisters, Diane Washington of Gulfport, Eveline Gray, Rosie Harris, and Demetris Davis, all of Vicksburg; two foster sisters, Lashanna Johnson Jackson and Louvenia Johnson Ramakanthan, both of Vicksburg, 12 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, one goddaughter, and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
