CANTONMENT, Fla.- Funeral services for Kathleen Claiborne Hedrick-McGrew, 100, who died Thursday, Nov. 19, at her resident will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 28, at Mercy Seat M.B. Church in Port Gibson with the Rev. Columbus Felton officiating. Burial will be in Forrest Grove Cemetery with Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. of Port Gibson in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Friday from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel and Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time at the church.
Mrs. McGrew was a member and mother at Forrest Grove Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Oliver Hedrick; her second husband, Johnny P. McGrew; four sons, Q.C. Hedrick, West Hedrick, Hayes Hedrick and Willie D. Hedrick.
Mrs. McGrew is survived by four sons, Percy Hedrick, and Clarence (Sara) Hedrick, both of Pattison, Miss., Cozean (Charlene) Hedrick of Blytheville, Ark. and David Hedrick of Gary, Ind.; two daughters, Cleo (Lt.) Conner of Cantonment, Fla. and Dorothy Jean Barker of Gary, Ind.; 54 grandchildren; and a host of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, great-great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
