Willie C. Thomas died Nov. 25, 2015, at Merit Health River Region Medical Center. He was 68.

Mr. Thomas was born in Utica, to the late Joe Thomas, Sr. and Willie B. Thomas.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Thomas Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Christine Thomas of Vicksburg; sons, Willie C. Thomas, Jr. of Los Angeles, Michael Thomas of New Orleans and Reco Thomas of Vicksburg; daughters, Martha Thomas of Utica and Brittany Thomas of Vicksburg; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Larry Thomas of New Orleans; three sisters, Mae Ethel McNeal and Joann Chess, both of Louisiana, and Martha Thomas of Atlanta; stepsons, Charles Bailey, Rodney Allen and Fred Allen, all of Vicksburg, Christopher Allen of Jackson and Henderson Bailey of Utica; and nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Services will be 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6, 2015, at Belmont M B Church in Utica, with the Rev. Phillip Burks officiating. Burial will follow at Belmont Church Cemetery under the direction of Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Sunday from noon until the hour of the service.
