Thomas Paul Woodruff

Thomas Paul Woodruff died Dec. 4, 2015, at his home near Anguilla.
Mr. Woodruff was born April 6, 1946, in Yazoo City. After graduation from Yazoo City High School and attending Holmes Community College, he served in the United States Marine Corps. He was stationed at Da Nang during the Vietnam War and was discharged at the rank of corporal.
After his time of service, He worked at various positions at Southland Oil in Crupp, and spent a number of years farming with his father-in-law near Anguilla.
As a younger man, he enjoyed deer and coon hunting and trained his own hunting dogs. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Anguilla.
Mr. Woodruff was preceded in death by his parents, Maria Waaser and Thomas Calvin Woodruff; and brother, Robert Calvin Woodruff.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Doris White Woodruff; son, Calvin Tucker Woodruff; daughter, Paula Vadine Mashke; six grandchildren; and sister, Natoma Perkins.
Services are 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 10, 2015, at First Baptist Church of Anguilla.
Visitation will be Thursday at the church from 1 p.m. until the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
